A ‘Termite Treatment Zone (Termite Barrier as they are commonly known)’ refers to a chemical treatment installed into the soil around the perimeter of your home and or any buildings on your property. The advantage of termite / white ant treatment zone over other termite management systems is the long term protection it offers. As long as they remain undisturbed they will silently protect your home for up to 8 to ten years depending on treatment used.

Our treatment zones are ‘best practice’ and we strictly adhere to the Australian Standards. AS 3660.2.2000 termite/ white ant colony management and termite protection.
All homes are different and all termite / white ant treatment zones are tailor made to individually suit your home.
There are a number of termiticides available for use in the installation of a treatment zone.
There are two treatment zone categories, non repellent and repellent.
Non repellent termiticides do not kill termites on contact they contaminate them with termiticide. They then spreads it throughout the colony slowly killing all the termites / white ants.
Repellent termiticides stop the termite / white ants directly by killing them. The termites can not enter the treatment zone so are repelled or killed.
The common termiticides brand names are Termidor, Biflex Ultra.
Termidor termite / white ant treatment zone (commonly known as ‘Termite Barrier’)
Termidor Termite Treatment Zones have an eight year life span (as per label). Termidor is a non repellant treatment.
Biflex termite / white ant treatment zone
Biflex Termite Treatment Zones have a ten year life span depending on strength used ( as per label). Biflex is a repellent treatment.
