Termite/white ant inspections are an important part of managing termite risk to your house or building. Annual inspections and long term termite protection is recommended by the Australian Standards AS3600
Termite/White ant Inspection takes approximately one to two hours depending on the size of building and grounds.
A Termatrac T3i is used to aid in the detection of termites/white ant inspections.
The Termatrac T3i is the latest technology in termite detection. It incorporates a radar, thermal detection and moisture meter to aid in detecting termites in your home.
TERMITE TEATMENT ZONES AND TERMITE PROTECTION
Termite/ White ant protection of your home or building is recommended by AS3600.2.
The best protection is a termite treatment zone installed around the perimeter of your home.
Some houses require some internal treatment zone to be installed depending on construction style, but generally treatment zones are around the external perimeter of the house.
The termite treatment zones offers protection for eight to ten years depending on the termiticide used. The termiticide used depends on the history of the building being protected.
